Rhode, the skincare and makeup brand founded by Hailey Bieber, has promoted Lauren Ratner, previously Rhode’s head of brand, to president and chief brand officer.

The news follows the departure of chief executive officer Melanie Bender in October.

Ratner joined Rhode pre-launch in 2020 after leading marketing at Reformation and other positions at Michael Kors and James Perse. Over the past three years, she has helped develop Rhode’s offering and grow its reach.

This included a partnership with Krispy Kreme, where the brand unveiled a strawberry flavor of its Peptide Lip Treatment inspired by strawberry glazed doughnuts.

In September, Rhode introduced a hybrid color cosmetics range with Tinted Peptide Lip Treatments.
